Currently, SMNG owns and operates over 400 miles of natural gas pipelines. We are also in the process of expanding our system to serve the communities of Houston, Licking, Lebanon, Branson and Hollister.
Our system extends over 130 miles from Springfield to West Plains. SMNG currently provides natural gas service to 12 communities and surrounding rural areas along the U.S. Highway 60 and 63 corridors. The communities we serve include:
- Rogersville
- Fordland
- Marshfield
- Diggins
- Seymour
- Ava
- Mansfield
- Norwood
- Mountain Grove
- Cabool
- Willow Springs
- West Plains
SMNG also holds the franchise rights for Houston, Licking and Lebanon and received final regulatory approval in August 2007. Currently, we expect to begin construction to these cities in the summer of 2008 with gas service commencing by the end of the year.
In June 2007 SMNG acquired the franchise rights to serve Branson and Hollister and are in the process of obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals. At this time, we hope to begin construction in the summer of 2008 with gas service commencing by 2009.
